    Reacting to a tweet by Nile Gardiner, Foreign policy analyst and former aide to Margaret Thatcher who called “withdrawing from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal as one of the best foreign policy decisions taken by a US President in decades”, Ulyanov said, “The JCPOA was a masterpiece of diplomacy”.

    “The majority of states are of a different view. They believe that the JCPOA was a masterpiece of diplomacy, a major contribution to strengthening the global nonproliferation regime,” the Russian diplomat wrote on his official Twitter account.

    “In the IAEA Board of Governors US is practically in total isolation on this topic,” he added.

    Ulyanov has repeatedly criticized US’ stance on Iran and the JCPOA, calling it against international laws.

    “Quadripartite security cooperation between Iraq, Iran, Russia and Syria in fighting against the ISIS remnants will be continued,” Iraqi military’s Joint Operations Command spokesperson, Tahsin al-Khafaji said.

    “Iraqi military’s joint operations command cooperates with the quadripartite coalition to access new information and target ISIS militants,” he added.

    “ISIS remnants are no longer able to influence the security situation and confront the Iraqi security forces,” Tahsin al-Khafaji stressed.

    Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani congratulated Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi on his election and said, "We are very happy that a person who knows the recent developments of the country well has taken responsibility today".

    Stating that Iraq"s independence, political stability, national sovereignty and integrity are very important for Iran, he expressed hope that friendly relations between Tehran and Baghdad must deepen".

    Dr. Rouhani also stressed that Iran has always been –and will be- alongside Iraq to serve both nations" interests, adding, "In the meantime, we need to be careful about conspirators who have targeted Iraq and other regional nations" interests".

     Referring to the importance of establishing peace and stability in the region, he said, "As we proved in the fight against ISIL that we are alongside the Iraqi nation, we will be with the government with all our might to help it progress and establish stability".

    Stressing the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries through land borders and also activating border markets, Dr. Rouhani emphasized the implementation of previous agreements including oil pipeline, linking Shalamcheh railway and dredging Arvandrud.

     He also went on to refer to the outbreak of coronavirus in countries all over the world, describing cooperation, sharing information and knowledge between the two countries in this field imperative, and voiced Iran"s readiness to help Iraq to fight coronavirus.

    During the same phone call, the Prime Minister of Iraq described the Islamic Republic of Iran a friendly country and said, "We will never forget Iran"s help, as a key country in the region, for establishing security and stability in Iraq, especially in fighting ISIL, and we are willing to develop relations with Iran in all fields of mutual interest".

    Mustafa Al-Kadhimi also said that the world and the region are in critical conditions, adding, "Any kind of problem will be resolved with logic and rationality, and I hope that we can resolve all problems through close cooperation between the two countries".

    During the outbreak of the new coronavirus, all sports activities and competitions have been canceled, but athletes keep fit by training at home.
    These photos have been taken from some of Iranian athletes continue their trainings at home in order to maintain their physical readiness for future sports events that will resume after the outbreak of the coronavirus.

    According to Article 135 of the Constitution and with regard to your commitment and valuable management experiences in the field of industry and trade, you are being appointed as the "Acting Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade".
